Random Coincidence

Random Coincidence is an exploration of moments that converge to create the illusion that everything is either destined to occur or a random event.

A candid photograph is a perfect example of this perception.

For this exhibit, I asked the viewer to participate in the titles of these images without seeing the photos.

I randomly associated a number to each photo.

Without any knowledge of the photos, I invited participants to send me a title, word or phrase, with a number between 1- 10.

Since energy follows thoughts, my question is:

Were these titles influenced by the energy of the photo even though they didn't actually see the image?

The title submitted is now a part of the photograph and has added another dimension to it's story.

This questions our participation in our daily lives, the planet and beyond.
