Inspired by my children and their ability to find magic in the ordinary, I photographed this series, as they candidly dove into a closed pool at midnight. Like a scent, transporting you to memory, I was reminded how true to their nature... present and aware children experience life. No expectations, no boundaries and no filters. Raw and mysterious.

and i wrote the first bare line,
bare, without substance, pure
foolishness,
pure wisdom
of one who knows nothing,
and suddenly i saw
the heaven
unfastened
and open.”
